ABOUT ME

My first love of creating began when i was about 6 when my mum and her younger sister encouraged and showed me how to make clothes for my dolls. The doll's first outfit was a blue and white polka dot skirt and top. i'll never forget it.

I still have a thing for polka dots.

My grandmother, my mother, my aunties were always sewing so it was only a matter of time. My favourite dress was a blue taffeta number my mum made for my 10th birthday party( it was 1998 ok!).

I studied patternmaking, bridal wear and fashion at Tafe , moving on to Theatrical Costume Manufacturing where i learned how to make period costumes and fell further in love with clothing and the history of dressing dating from the 10th century.

My first Job was at channel 7's wardrobe department, after which i moved to theatre then on to film for 10 years in the costume department buying, making, loving every second of it.

3 years ago i started my first business as a personal stylist, which i still run, and am currently working as a stills producer and stylist, and soon to be designer ( hopefully!).

On a personal note my darling Boyfriend is now my Fiance and we'll be getting hitched in less than a year!
